If You Can't Join 'Em, Beat 'Em!

Sometimes it can be frustrating on the audition circuit, desperately trying to win parts you're not even sure you want to perform, finding yourself reading for the "robot prostitute" and wondering if soft-core porn might actually not be such a bad option bad after all....

But instead of succumbing to this cycle, I've decided to mix it up.

I've been so inspired by watching my fellow artists go out there and produce their own work that I decided to give it a shot myself! "Exhibit Us: Desire in Motion" is a one-hour show composed of storytelling vignettes that use movement, music, text and dance to express the most precious desires of the artists creating them. It's a collaborative performance piece that has grown out of much of the training done at The Actors Studio Drama School, mixing genres and non-linear expression to find a more universal language, unleash the the power of desire, and give us artists a way to express ourselves!

Right now we are in the process of finding a space and nailing down a date/time. It's going to be an exciting journey and I can't wait to see what happens. We already have an incredible team of people involved and every day more express interest.

More coming soon!

At Large

This page is for news, updates and feedback! Upcoming shows, networking etc for Jeanne Joe Perrone.

Perrone recently completed her MFA at The Actors Studio Drama School with flying colors. After 3 years of intensive, deep study she is excited to continue honing her craft at large in the "real world" - which is just another name for the applied imagination. Though she holds a masters degree, she feels that there is no such thing as "mastering" acting. Every moment is a unique experience and growth opportunity.

Excited for the next chapter!
